The Beautiful Meg James
Meg is passionate about sharing a modern approach to the ancient practices of meditation and mindfulness. First introduced to meditation by her mother at the age of four, Meg drew heavily on meditation in her teens to mange anxious tendencies. Meg’s regular practise continues to profoundly and positively impact her everyday life.
Meg has really enjoyed collaborating with The Cocoon Room Melbourne to co-create original, authentic and relatable content.
Her teaching focuses on using mindfulness techniques to help clients acknowledge and feel their feelings, listen to their intuition, develop a strong sense of self, and manage unhelpful thought patterns that sabotage personal fulfilment. Meg aspires to help people overcome the perception that practising meditation/mindfulness is difficult, successful or unsuccessful but rather an enjoyable and replenishing part of each day.
Drawing on her corporate background in media and advertising, Meg specialises in facilitating corporate classes, workshops and keynotes, and has worked with some of Australia’s most well-known organisations such as Swisse, Mecca, The AFL, WPP AU NZ and many more.
Meg has a degree in Psychology, is an Accredited Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher and holds an Advanced Dip of Yoga Teaching. Meg is also mum to a busy little toddler.
